This project in Design and Art Direction consists of the full creative development of the world tour “Arrels Futures” for Maria Arnal, built around the concept of Ancestral Mutation, the fusion between cultural heritage and contemporary technology. The tour title is in Catalan, Arrels Futures, which translates into English as Future Roots, reinforcing the idea that the future can emerge from what is inherited and traditionally rooted.

The project includes a manifesto film introducing this new artistic era, as well as a concert simulation video featuring visuals created with artificial intelligence. These visuals are inspired by DNA structures, molecular systems, and organic forms in mutation, establishing a parallel between genetic code and tradition, presenting heritage as living matter that can be reprogrammed and transformed.

The complete visual identity of the tour was developed, including a bold serif logotype accompanied by a symbol that merges the letters A and F. The logo itself undergoes a visual transformation throughout the identity system, reflecting the concept of mutation and evolution that defines the tour narrative. The official poster combines scientific-inspired graphic elements, grids, molecular structures, dots, and branching lines resembling electric roots.

The proposal also includes a merch line aligned with the tour’s visual language: designed tickets and wristbands, t-shirts featuring the symbol and mutation-inspired graphics, and a special symbolic item, an amethyst stone offered as a protective and transformative talisman, reinforcing the ritual and spiritual dimension of the live experience. Additionally, a comprehensive creative book was produced, compiling the full conceptual development of the tour, including research, narrative structure, visual direction, strategy, and design system.
